I think about a world to come where the books were found by the golden ones, written in pain, written in awe by a puzzled man who questioned, "What are we here for?" All the strangers came today and it looks as though they're here to stay.

Left 4 Dead 2

My friend Joe Jinn has logged over 800 hours of playtime on Left 4 Dead 2. Before I owned the game, he'd tell me to play it on his computer and he'd watch, something of a video game voyeur. No matter how well I'd do he'd heckle me, saying something like, "It's not worth playing unless you're on Expert difficulty," or "You wouldn't last thirty seconds on Realism mode." Some of my friends scoff at how often Joe plays Left 4 Dead 2, saying things like, "It's a great game and all, but all he does is sleep and play - nothing else," but a part of me not so deep under the surface envies Joe. I'm not saying that I'd give up my fantastic relationship with Amy or the other things I strive for, but were I capable of duplicating myself and sharing my experiences with several satellite-Justins, one of them might just be dedicated to playing Left 4 Dead 2 all the time. On the other hand, maybe Justin-2814 would get bored of it. It's a great game and all, but all I'd be doing is sleeping and playing...
