I think about a world to come where the books were found by the golden ones, written in pain, written in awe by a puzzled man who questioned, "What are we here for?" All the strangers came today and it looks as though they're here to stay.

Reality Bites (1994)

It has been argues that Reality Bites sums up the '90s better than any other film released during that decade.

You'll find no argument here. I remember the '90s vividly. Reality Bites is the '90s.

(So is Radiohead's album Pablo Honey, but that's an entirely different tangent.)

  1. This movie always makes me wonder what it'd be like to come of age in the 90's. Great movie.

I agree that Pablo Honey (or possibly even The Bends) is arguably the album that best defined the attitude of rock 'n roll in the 1990's.

I remember talking to you about the top ten most important albums of the 90's. I think you should do a Caveman Go article on that.

  2. That is one of a couple posts that I have had brewing in my head for some time. It is also one that may have to wait for a while until I can expose myself to more music.
