I think about a world to come where the books were found by the golden ones, written in pain, written in awe by a puzzled man who questioned, "What are we here for?" All the strangers came today and it looks as though they're here to stay.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 1 Results

I know you've been waiting for the result from the first battle between first seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode 12: "The Bus Pants Utilization," which aired on January 6, 2011, and thirty-second seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Seven: "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" which aired on October 28, 2010. Well, the results are in.

It's an upset. The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" was much funnier than the Big Bang Theory episode "The Bus Pants Utilization." It seems the ratings were off.

Congrats to Cavemen Go fan Adam Friedli, who predicted that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia would win this match-up.

Stay tuned for our next match-up between the sixteenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Eleven: "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas," which aired December 9, 2010, and seventeenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twelve: "Asian Population Studies," which aired January 20, 2011. I'm betting that Community wins this close battle, but which of these episodes will prove the better? Cast your votes here!

  1. While the Christmas episode is really great for what it is, I think my vote goes for Asian Population Studies instead. There just seemed to be more going on in the episode to further character development and progress the show than merely doing an episode in a different style.
