I think about a world to come where the books were found by the golden ones, written in pain, written in awe by a puzzled man who questioned, "What are we here for?" All the strangers came today and it looks as though they're here to stay.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete

There was something so different about The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Like most television shows that were made for children, it picks up topics that any kid can relate to, like a road trip, and stereotypical characters that anyone can relate to, like the father who has to be the best at packing. Unlike most television shows, strange and supernatural things seemed to happen, but they seemed completely normal to the brothers Pete. Re-watching this show recently, it was hard not to realize how fantastically written the television show was. Somehow, this show always walked the line between human and easy to relate to and radically different and otherworldly. The sum total of all of this is that The Adventures of Pete and Pete is unforgettable.
