I think about a world to come where the books were found by the golden ones, written in pain, written in awe by a puzzled man who questioned, "What are we here for?" All the strangers came today and it looks as though they're here to stay.

Thursday TV Tournament: The Conclusion

Today's match-up is between twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011, and seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011. The winner of this match-up, as well as the best episode of television that aired on a Thursday night this past year is:

Community S02E21: "Paradigms of Human Memory" (4/21/2011)

In the previous battle between The Office, "Garage Sale" and 30 Rock, "Queen of Jordan," the idea that fantastic drama can defeat fantastic comedy was raised by Adam Friedli. While I agreed with Adam for the most part, I felt that there must be some kind of exception, or perhaps a ruling principle that trumps both. I knew that "Paradigms of Human Memory" was a better episode, but I just didn't know why. I think what I realized is that intelligence overrules both drama and comedy. For one, emotion and humor are completely different concepts, apples and oranges. They are comparable only insofar as they are fruits and personal taste comes into play. Well, the "fruit" of this occasion is "intelligence" or "good writing." While The office touched us all emotionally, in many ways it was reflective of other good moments that have happened in previous seasons. As for Community, the television program is only on its second season, which means that it is setting the rules that it will follow in later seasons. The fact is that the writers on Community took more risks, wrote without a safety net, and had no choice but to succeed. "Garage Sale" required a great deal of good writing, but much of that could be done by repeating patterns established over several years of success. Maybe even more than intelligence or good writing, "Paradigms of Human Memory" was just more original.

I want to take a moment right now to thank everyone who followed the Thursday TV Tournament. It was an interesting project for me. I especially want to thank Adam Friedli, because he's the only individual I know actually followed the tournament. (In the world of blogging, nobody knows there are followers unless they comment, and Adam sure did his fair share of commenting.) I also want to mention that last night marks a full year from the beginning of this project. Well, sort of. This project began last year with the first episode of the sixth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and last night was the first episode of the seventh. Will there be a Thursday TV Tournament next year? Probably not. But if enough people hold hands and, well, stop holding hands enough to give some positive comments maybe I can see what I can do.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 30 Results

Today's match-up is between seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011, and twenty-second seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Seventeen, "Queen of Jordan," which aired March 17, 2011. Not only that, but we now know which two teams will make it to the finals of the Thursday TV Tournament.

For this one, I think I'm going to have to side with Mr. Adam Friedli once more.

The Office had its fair share of humor, but its backbone is clearly emotional drive this time around. So we have humor against emotion. For me, I will usually side with emotion over humor, but it's often a tough call.

Michael's proposal might be one of the most beautiful and meaningful things I have seen on network television in quite a long time. I'm pulling for The Office...

Here's the question, however: Can the emotion of one of the most important episodes of The Office defeat the comedy of one of the funniest episodes of Community? This is what lies ahead for us.

Tune in next time for twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011, and seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011. In the super-serial-end, there can be only one. And it's the super-serial end.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 29 Results

Today's match-up is between ninth seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Sixteen, "PDA," which aired February 10, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. The results are in:

While "PDA" was both a funny episode and an important event in the history of The Office, it was neither the funniest episode of The Office this season nor did it feature the most important event of the season. And you know that I can't keep pushing The Office forward more and more simply because this season is the last season that Steve Carell will be featured on. The Community episode was possibly the funniest twenty or so minutes of television that I've seen all year, and furthermore, it featured clips that were so hilarious that most people I know are wishing for a Community 2.5 that will feature full-length versions of these never-made and never-aired episodes. It brings me great pleasure to graduate "Paradigms of Human Memory" from the ranks of the Final Four into the the running for the title.

Tune in next time for seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011, and twenty-second seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Seventeen, "Queen of Jordan," which aired March 17, 2011. In the almost-end, there can be only two. But which two will those be?

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 28 Results

Today's match-up is between thirtieth seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode One, "Mac Fights Gay Marriage," which aired September 16, 2010, and twenty-second seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Seventeen, "Queen of Jordan," which aired March 17, 2011. Not only are the results in for this week, but it seems that we now know who the Final Four are:

It is sad that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is no longer in the tournament, but there is plenty to celebrate. Though zero episodes are present in the Final Four, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia had two episodes represented in the Elite Eight and that's pretty fantastic. "Queen of Jordan" was a really entertaining episode of 30 Rock, probably the best of the season. If one is going to be defeated, it is best to be defeated by a good rival, and "Queen of Jordan" is exactly that.

Tune in next time for ninth seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Sixteen, "PDA," which aired February 10, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. We're so close to the end. I know I'm really excited.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 26 Results

Today's match-up is between twentieth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Nine, "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" which aired November 18, 2010, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. The results are in:

While "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" was a strong episode, I was surprised it made it this far in the competition. It was weaker than many of the episodes that got booted much earlier. It just happened to have an easier bracket. As for "Paradigms of Human Memory," it's absolutely one of the best episodes of Community ever, up there with the ping pong episode and the original paintball episode. This one was an easy choice. It may be the last easy choice.

Tune in next time for fifteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twelve, "Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning," which aired January 27, 2011, and seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011. I'll see you then.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 25 Results

Today's match-up is between thirty-second seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Seven, "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" which aired on October 28, 2010, and ninth seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Sixteen, "PDA," which aired February 10, 2011. The results are in:

"Who Got Dee Pregnant?" was probably the funniest episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia all year. Unfortunately for Sunny, "PDA" gave us exactly what we've always wanted from the office, good comedy and Michael and Holly back together.

Tune in next time for twentieth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Nine, "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" which aired November 18, 2010, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. At one time there were many episodes of Community on the list. Next time there will be only one.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 20 Results

Today's match-up is between twenty-first seed, Community Season Two, Episode Fourteen, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," which aired February 3, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. The results are in:

If things had lined up differently, I could imagine these two episodes making it all the way to the end. But as it turns out, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" was eliminated today. In the end there can be only one. Why was "Paradigms of Human Memory" better? I think Adam Friedli summed it up pretty succinctly:

While I appreciate what they did with "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," "Paradigms of Human Memory" wins this round for me.

Now, I know Community has only been around for two seasons. But even still, "Paradigms of Human Memory" felt like classic Community. It had tons of quick and witty jokes, and a lot of the subtle humor that made me fall in love with the show in the first place.

A large part of this was mentioning situations as if they were common knowledge to the viewer, when in reality this was the first mention of any of them. They also addressed and explained portions of earlier shows, such as Annie's issue with stolen pens. There was just a lot going on and it all worked really well for me.

This show also reminded me of an episode of South Park where the kids were stranded in a school bus stuck near an edge of a cliff named "City on the Edge of Forever" (207). The kids start reminiscing about events from previous shows, but they end up changing the details so they always end up eating ice cream. Now that's what I call a sticky situation.

Tune in next time for thirty-first seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Nine, "Dee Reynolds: Shaping America's Youth," which aired November 11, 2010, and fifteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twelve, "Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning," which aired January 27, 2011. We're half-way through the sweet sixteen!

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 19 Results

Today's match-up is between twenty-ninth seed Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-Four, "For a Few Paintballs More," which aired May 12, 2011, and twentieth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Nine, "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" which aired November 18, 2010. The results are in:

The second part of the two-part season finale, "For a Few Paintballs More," ties up what began as little more than a shout-out to the most successful episode of the previous season, "the paintball episode," in a really funny and interesting way. Unfortunately, against an episode such as "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design," which is fairly strong and tells a complete story within one half-hour of television, this finale episode didn't really stand a chance. I'll admit that it was terribly close, but in the end the suspense music, the high concept, and the acting of Kevin Corrigan proved stronger than the last episode of the season. Cavemen Go follower Adam Friedli had a similar vote for which episode ought to win, but for completely different reasons (NOTE: if you weigh in and support your thoughts, I might just have the pleasure of quoting you in future posts):

"Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" gets my vote in this round.

Both were pretty fun, but it felt like a landslide in my choice's direction. The end of "For a Few Paintballs More" definitely set up for an interesting dynamic for next season, but the blanket fort completely won me over. It reminded me of how cool an idea that still is. A blanket fort for men indeed. Just think about it and you KNOW it would be an amazing time to have a blanket fort of that scale. The entire ending sequence was equally as fantastic too.

"Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" was simply Community at its best and was far better than Community at not quite its best.

Whether you were a fan of the conspiracy theory story line or the interior design story line, it appears that all votes were in favor of "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design." I want to give a special thanks to Adam Friedli for weighing in with such a concise response.

Tune in next time for twenty-first seed, Community Season Two, Episode Fourteen, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," which aired February 3, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. This might be the most difficult match-up yet.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 18 Results

Today's match-up is between ninth seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Sixteen, "PDA," which aired February 10, 2011, and twenty-fifth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Seventeen, "Intro to Political Science," which aired February 24, 2011. The results are in:

Thank goodness that this particular match-up was a little bit easier to judge than the last one. "Intro to Political Science" developed the Pierce in exile/revenge of Pierce theme, and that was pretty cool, but it almost felt like there was little more. On the other hand, "PDA" is the return of the love affair between Holly Flax and Michael Scott. It was the turning point after two and a half weak seasons. While Community as a whole has been better than The Office for the last two seasons, this particular episode of The Office is simply much better than this particular episode of Community.

Tune in next time for twenty-ninth seed Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-Four, "For a Few Paintballs More," which aired May 12, 2011, and twentieth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Nine, "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" which aired November 18, 2010. It looks like Community just might make it to round three after all!

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 17 Results

Today's match-up is between thirty-second seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Seven, "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" which aired on October 28, 2010, and seventeenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twelve, "Asian Population Studies," which aired January 20, 2011. The results are in:

After today's match-up, I feel certain that the rest of this tournament is going to hurt. During the first round, some episodes were the lesser of several evils, and some episodes only made the list because they were the only new episode airing that week. But during this round I'm forced to say goodbye to some of my favorite episodes of the last year. Nobody deserved to get the boot this week, but unfortunately, one episode had to be discarded.

I was completely incapable of deciding the better episode for myself, so I put it to a vote on Facebook and Twitter. When the results came in, it just happened to be a tie. It was the testimony of long time Cavemen Go follower Adam Friedli that tipped the scales:

After watching both, I think I need to choose the Always Sunny ep. This ep of Community is easily one of the strongest of the season though. Without revealing spoilers, some good plot moments are finally addressed, and the characters themselves definitely progress meaningfully. Lots of funny moments were had by all.
However, I was just feeling the Always Sunny ep more. A major plot began in this ep that would continue for the rest of the season, and I simply laughed more than with the ep of Community.

Adam appealed to one of my most important rules, one that assisted me in hard decisions concerning which thirty-two episodes would be chosen this season, the rule of which episode made you laugh the most and the hardest. Thanks for your help, Adam Friedli, and everyone else who gave their input.

Tune in next time for ninth seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Sixteen, "PDA," which aired February 10, 2011, and twenty-fifth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Seventeen, "Intro to Political Science," which aired February 24, 2011. Hopefully, this match-up won't be nearly as painful. Hopefully...

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 16 Results

In the sixteenth match-up, I pitted Steve Carell's final episode of The Office against nothing. In other words, I gave this episode a bye. Later, Josh Toulouse explained to me that the bye usually goes to the highest ranking seed. In other words, one of the Big Bang Theory episodes should have advanced to the second round. But I thought it proper that the most important episode that happened this season, the one with the heaviest weight in television history, should get the bye. In the long run, that is the first seed. (Does that make any sense?)

After all that time, we've finally gotten to the Sweet Sixteen. I thought I'd give you a look at the current state of the tournament before moving on to our seventeenth match-up.

Tune in next time for thirty-second seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Seven, "Who Got Dee Pregnant?" which aired on October 28, 2010, and seventeenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twelve, "Asian Population Studies," which aired January 20, 2011. It's so sweet.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 14 Results

Today's match-up is between fourteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Three, "Let's Stay Together," which aired October 7, 2010, and nineteenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode One, "Anthropology 101," which aired September 23, 2010. The results are in:

I took a trip to Brooklyn last summer, and every hip kid in town was talking about how the people got together and petitioned to get Betty White on Saturday Night Live. This was the hip, hipster, indie thing to talk about. I wasn't all that excited about Betty White on Saturday Night Live, and I sure didn't care to see her on Community either. (Oh, and by the way, it's no success to get Betty White on Saturday Night Live when you can't even get enough support to get Donald Glover an audition for the Spider-man reboot.) The 30 Rock episode in question was your ordinary, average 30 Rock episode, but that's plenty enough to beat the second season premiere of Community. Don't worry, Community. The show takes up almost the entire left half of the tournament. You'll see Community a bunch in upcoming match-ups.

Tune in next time for eleventh seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Two, "When It Rains, It Pours," which aired September 30, 2010, and twenty-second seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Seventeen, "Queen of Jordan," which aired March 17, 2011. I will see you then.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 13 Results

Today's match-up is between third seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Eighteen, "The Prestidigitation Approximation," which aired March 10, 2011, and thirtieth seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode One, "Mac Fights Gay Marriage," which aired September 16, 2010. The results are in:

I believe that's what they call a shut-out. Though Big Bang Theory filled the top five seeds according to its popularity in the ratings, not one of those seeds managed to move on to the second round. Thrice was it defeated by FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and twice by NBC's Community. This has taught me two things: 1. The ratings certainly do not reflect the quality of the programming, and 2. Big Bang Theory has had a free-ride for so long that they no longer deliver strong comedy like during their first couple of seasons. I have derived two hopes from my findings: 1. that the masses will flock to smart and interesting programs rather than comfortable and bland comedies, and 2. that Big Bang Theory will pick up some momentum in the upcoming season, justifying its renewal.

Tune in next time for fourteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Three, "Let's Stay Together," which aired October 7, 2010, and nineteenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode One, "Anthropology 101," which aired September 23, 2010. The first round has almost come to an end. Be here for the last three picks.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 12 Results

Today's match-up is between seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011, and twenty-sixth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty, "Competitive Wine Tasting," which aired April 14, 2011. I know you've been holding your breath, so here are the results, my blue-faced friends:

While "Competitive Wine Tasting" has its strengths, "Garage Sale" was one of the best episodes of The Office in years, and that is saying something. This one had some of the shine of earlier seasons, when Jim and Pam were wondering whether or not one would return the other's affections and what have you. And arguably the strongest scene we've ever seen on The Office is the scene where Michael proposes to Holly. This is perhaps the only episode this entire season of Thursday night episodes that brought a tear to my eye. (Maybe Michael's final episode - I don't know...) It will take a fantastic episode to knock it out of the running.

Tune in next time for third seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Eighteen, "The Prestidigitation Approximation," which aired March 10, 2011, and thirtieth seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode One, "Mac Fights Gay Marriage," which aired September 16, 2010. I'll be there...

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 11 Results

Today's match is between tenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Four, "Live Show," which aired October 14, 2010, and twenty-third seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twenty-Three, "Respawn," which aired May 5, 2011. May the best 30 Rock win!

While many have spoken up to call "Live Show" a sad rip off of Saturday Night Live, it was more than enough to stand up against the season finale titled "Respawn." We never doubted that 30 Rock would gain another foothold in the second round, but with "Live Show" the program has a pretty strong foothold.

Stay tuned for the next match-up between seventh seed, The Office Season Seven, Episode Nineteen, "Garage Sale," which aired March 24, 2011, and twenty-sixth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty, "Competitive Wine Tasting," which aired April 14, 2011. I wonder who will win...

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 10 Results

When I saw this match-up between fifteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twelve, "Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning," which aired January 27, 2011, and eighteenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Seven, "Aerodynamics of Gender," which aired November 4, 2010, I knew there were going to be some hurt feelings. Well, for me, at least. It looks like the verdict is in:

The Community episode "Aerodynamics of Gender" holds a special place in my heart. The stories of the secret trampoline and Abed's ability to "terminate" women with witty insults were really fun, and this was the first episode of the second season that promised any of the greatness of the first season. The Sixth Sense surprise ending was one of my favorite moments of the entire season. But against a 30 Rock with humor strong enough to stand up to multiple re-watches without diminishing, this episode of Community didn't stand a chance. It hurt not a little to see this episode out of the competition, but if it's not the very best it was bound to go at some point. Congratulations, 30 Rock on a difficult victory. Sometimes, solid and consistent comedy are enough to defeat a giant, killer punchline, as was the case today.

Tune in next time for a match-up between tenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Four, "Live Show," which aired October 14, 2010, and twenty-third seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twenty-Three, "Respawn," which aired May 5, 2011. It's a 30 Rock-off!

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 9 Results

Regarding the match-up between second seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Twenty, "The Justice League Recombination," which aired December 16, 2010, and thirty-first seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Nine, "Dee Reynolds: Shaping America's Youth," which aired November 11, 2010, the results are in:

Again, "The Justice League Recombination" was one of the strongest episodes of the season, and I have always had a better time watching Big Bang Theory whenever Zack (played by Brian Smith) is on screen. And yet, the easy comedy of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia triumphed this day. I credit Charlie Day heavily as the quirky janitor who digs through the trash for food, but honestly the entire ensemble of this show is incredibly funny.

Stay tuned for a match-up between fifteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Twelve, "Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning," which aired January 27, 2011, and eighteenth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Seven, "Aerodynamics of Gender," which aired November 4, 2010. I'll see you then!

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 8 Results

As promised, today we shall find out who the victor is in the match-up of fifth seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Twenty, "The Herb Garden Germination," which aired April 7, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. And find out we shall!

While "The Herb Garden Germination" was easily one of the best episodes this season for Big Bang Theory, "Paradigms of Human Memory" was one of the best episodes of Community ever. Maybe that's not a strong enough statement, considering Community has only been on for two full seasons. I would say this episode is probably one of the top ten funniest half-hours of comedy programming in the last five years. That's how strong it was. It left people begging to see the episodes that are flashed back to, episodes that have never aired, and it left me wondering why they didn't air those episodes instead of some of the more abysmal episodes of the first half of the season.

And now we are left wondering who will win between second seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Twenty, "The Justice League Recombination," which aired December 16, 2010, and thirty-first seed, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season Six, Episode Nine, "Dee Reynolds: Shaping America's Youth," which aired November 11, 2010.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 7 Results

You've had some time to figure out who wins in our last match-up between twelfth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Five, "Reaganing," which aired October 21, 2010, and twenty-first seed, Community Season Two, Episode Fourteen, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," which aired February 3, 2011. Well, the waiting is over:

30 Rock delivered its classic barrage of clever comedy moment after moment, with some really hilarious riffs. But Community had the upper hand, both in that this high concept episode was incredibly funny, making me laugh out loud several times (which is one of the most important criteria for a win), and in the fact that "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" advances the season-long story-arc of the study group versus Pierce in a very interesting way. With both story and humor, Community has put another W in their column.

This next match is the half-way point for the first round. We will see a battle between fifth seed, Big Bang Theory Season Four, Episode Twenty, "The Herb Garden Germination," which aired April 7, 2011, and twenty-eighth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Twenty-One, "Paradigms of Human Memory," which aired April 21, 2011. Vote for the episode you want to win, and vote often.

Thursday TV Tournament: Match-up 6 Results

I know you've been wondering who would win between thirteenth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Nine, "Chain Reaction of Mental Anguish," which aired December 2, 2010, and twentieth seed, Community Season Two, Episode Nine, "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design." Well, the results are in:

While 30 Rock delivered possibly the most consistently funny season of all of our competitors, this particular episode of Community just brought it a little bit more. It was not uncommon in the second season of Community to see a high-concept episode pop up, and it was also not uncommon to see one of those episodes fall flat on its face. Let's face it: when Community wasn't fantastic, it really wasn't doing much. But this particular episode engaged us in a complex conspiracy, much like every film in the late '90s tried to do. With the help of fantastic actor Kevin Corrigan, who must have been on a hiatus from Fringe, this episode was just plain good.

Our next match puts these titans of comedy at odds once again. This time we will be seeing a competition between twelfth seed, 30 Rock Season Five, Episode Five, "Reaganing," which aired October 21, 2010, and twenty-first seed, Community Season Two, Episode Fourteen, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," which aired February 3, 2011. Don't forget to let your voice be heard as to which episode you'd like to win!
